Here's a flashback: Metallica screwing around backstage in Lubbock.

As you may remember, the Met came to us "live" from backstage at the Lubbock show September 4th, 2004. Evidently, the band also released cool little mini tour-docs.

In this clip, you can see Lars doing a phone interview about the Some Kind Of Monster movie, Robert Truillo warms up and James and Sully get ready for their performance of "Sad But True."

This Lubbock performance was notable to all Metallica fans for two reasons: it was the only time Sully did "Sad but True" with the band, and it remains to this day the only time that Metallica played "Sweet Amber" live.
