Drowning Pool Tears It Down at Jake’s Backroom [Show Photos]

Texas-born metal band Drowning Pool made a return to Lubbock this week, hitting the stage at Jake's Backroom in support of their new record, "Hellelujah."

Singer Jasen Moreno snarled and growled his way into the hearts of the crowd on old-school songs and newer fare, like their latest single, By the Blood. To say the audience was down to rock would be an understatement; they thrashed along to every song.

Opening the show for Drowning Pool was Audiotopsy, Violence New Breed and Murder FM.
