The thing you always have to remember with a three-day bike rally is the need to pace yourself. After day one of the 2013 4B Wild West Bike Rally; I wish I would have remembered this simple yet so hard to achieve rule. After all, it is the biggest, baddest 72 hours of debauchery on the South Plains.

We'll gather at Jake's today for the 'Ride to Remember" (we leave at 1 p.m.) with a special cast member from "Sons of Anarchy" making the ride to Brownfield and the rally site.

Music gets started at 1 p.m. and the biker games take place all afternoon.

Whips and Kisses will bust out the pointy guitars and spandex pants starting at 4 p.m. followed by the Kiss tribute band DESTROYER at 8 p.m.

A few rules to follow this weekend:

1) This is an adult BYOB event.

2) No glass containers; cans or plastic bottles please.

3) Everyone must check-in at the registration table.

4) Your wristband is your ticket; it allows you to re-enter the rally all weekend.

5) No attitudes

Come get some this weekend at the 4B Wild West Bike Rally.
