Tickets are now on sale to the public for FMX's X-Fest 9 with a co-headliner bill of Godsmack and Staind on April 21 at the Lonestar Amphitheater. Tickets can be bought online through Front Gate Tickets or in store at Ralph's Records.

Heart is a pretty predictable choice for a female singer. It really wouldn't be a big deal, but Lzzy takes the song, sings it  a cappella and rips it apart.  I don't just mean rip either, she shreds, tears it inside out, stomps on it and brings it to life all over again.

Yes kids, sometimes things have to be done a certain way at a certain time.  Coming up Tuesday morning the RockShow will announce the 9th Annual X-Fest.  You may think you know the lineup, but even if you do, we have better news for you guys.  More details after the jump.

Take it from me, start saving your money now, because it's going to be a big year for concerts.  Right now we're looking at major shows for the FMX Birthday Bash, Xfest 9 (which is already booked but we can't announce yet) and a major headliner thinking about a United Spirit Arena show.  More after the break.

X-Fest 8 was a huge success thanks in part to the bands and the fans. Stone Sour really rocked Lubbock and capped off an awesome night of music. We think it sucks we have to wait another year for the next X-Fest. Maybe we can do something about that. What was your favorite song from the Stone Sour set?
