The Weekend Is Here, Get Your Party On [VIDEO]

I love making these little YouTube playlists.  Today, even though a cold has kicked me in the crotch until I'm black and blue, I'm at least down with the thought of "partying".  Sure, my kind of partying this weekend will involve a red onesie and some chicken soup, but it will be a relief to put my feet up for a little bit.

So how about a playlist to get you up and partyin'?  Let's mix a little new-rock, some classic rock and even some old school metal to get you pumped for the weekend. Here' you go, a full on "Party For You".

1. Party Hard. The RockShow uses this to kick off every Friday and with good reason. This song will get your adrenaline pumping like dollar-fifty gas.  Yep, it's a gooder!

2. Party On The Patio. Not only was it a legendary FMX event, it's a perfect plan for the weekend. Believe it or not, after this snow, we're back to barbeque weather this weekend!

3.It's A Party. Buckcherry has to be there if you wanna get loud! I always thought this song never received enough attention, but it's a perfect party starter for a Friday afternoon.

4. Rock And Roll Party In The Streets. Now some of you young 'uns only know this from the snippet played when FMX "kicks off the weekend" on Fridays. Axe was a big deal around here back in the day and this song is a fitting legacy for them.

5. Deuce. The former Hollywood Undead front man gets us started with this slow burner.  I can just see people chucking kegs over fences in slow motion and this song starts to kick in. From there, it's a full on beer soaked good good time.
