15 Ways Everyone Can Tell You’re Definitely From Lubbock, Texas

It wasn't until I moved far away from Lubbock, Texas that I began to miss and appreciate it. I had to do a little growing up before I realized just how special this place is...and just how much CHEAPER it is to live here vs. a bigger city.  I enjoyed my time in Austin, but Lubbock will always be home. Most of my friends who moved away when they turned 18 have found their way back. It's a bit of a black hole, but it's home, and we are making the best of it.
