50 Cent Shows at Moody Planetarium to Celebrate Apollo 11’s 50-Year Anniversary
This weekend, our country will commemorate one of the most famous technological accomplishments of mankind: The anniversary of Apollo 11 mission's lunar landing.
The mission, which launched on July 16, 1969, was the first to send and deliver a man to the moon.
The historical steps made by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin will be celebrated until Saturday, July 20th by the Moody Planetarium for Astro Day, with 50-cent Planetarium shows all day. Why not enjoy a day at the Museum of Texas Tech and take in a show right next door for 50 cents?
Normally, an adult ticket is $5, but Thursday, July 18th through Saturday, July 20th, you can take a family of two adults and two children for a total $2 per show because each show for each person is only 50 cents.
You can find out more information about the event at the Facebook event page, and if you happen to take in a show this weekend at the Moody Planetarium, be sure to tell your friends all about the fun you had.
