7 Excellent Ways To Cheer Yourself Up When You’re Bummed In Lubbock
Are you bummed out and stuck in Lubbock?
Cheer up, Chuck, because I've got a big list of fun ways to take your mind off your cruddy life and remind you how lucky you are to be depressed here instead of somewhere lame like...Odessa or something.
That sh*t sucks way worse. Trust me.
Whether you've had a bad breakup, lost a pet, or just need a little help digging yourself out of last winter's seasonal depression, these 7 activities are bound to put a smile on your face, at least temporarily.
Before you check out the list, I would also recommend participating in these activities alone...
"Alone, Chrissy? But why?"
I know that might sound weird to some people, especially if you're used to being surrounded by friends, but, listen: Nobody wants to be around a negative nancy! Don't drag everyone else down to the ground floor with you. Cheer yourself up on your own, and THEN invite a friend to join you when you're in a better mood.
That's just a little advice from me. Take it or leave it.
(It might be wise to leave it. I've made a lot of mistakes in life.)
Enjoy!

And, hey, while we are on the subject of being bummed, don't forget about reaching out to a medical professional if you think you might need a little more than Pad Thai and a movie to cheer you up. There's no shame in the mental health game!
Take care of yourself. I hope you start feeling better soon.
