I commend every Lubbock business that went through the headache and piles of paperwork to ensure their employees could still be paid. In fact, had my husband's place of employment failed to do so, I may be as George Thorogood said, "outdoors."

I am going to operate under the assumption that every one of these businesses borrowed this money in good faith and used it properly.

To see if the company you work for, or a company you're just curious about took PPP loans, the list is available here.  You can drill down and dork out on the data to your heart's content. This list does not include businesses that borrowed less than $150K.

You will see that many on the list are vital non-profits that serve this community. Chances are pretty good you're broke too, but if/when you have some extra cash flow, you may consider organizations like the South Plains Food Bank in your charitable giving.
