Acclaimed Lubbock Restaurant Now Has Exciting New Product For Sale
To say that Vizo's African Bar and Restaurant (3131 34th St) is unique in Lubbock would be an understatement. Vizo's is the only brick-and-mortar African restaurant in town, with traditional African cuisine and African fusion dishes. Vizo's even has imported African beers available.
Vizo's has since relocated from its original location off the loop to the former Crafthouse Gastropub spot- continuing culinary excellence in the building and receiving rave reviews.
Everything I have ever tried here has been amazing. They also do a great job explaining the menu and anything else with you. They live to share their culture with you. Amazing! — Nick Harpster
That alone would make Vizo's worth the visit. But if you still need convincing, know that Vizo's also made Forbes Top 100 Place To Eat In the United States, According To Yelp, in 2020, and was the only Lubbock restaurant to do so.
Now, Vizo's offers a taste of their unique flavor to add to your dishes. Two flavors of their signature hot sauces are available for purchase through Amazon: Orginal and Sweet and Spicy. Both sauces contain habaneros, onions, ginger, and African spices to achieve their unique flavors.
From the Amazon description:
Delicious Flavorful Habenero Ginger Sweet Onions Pepper Sauce
Our hot pepper sauce is made using authentitic African techniques and spices to achieve its unique flavor
I'm currently kicking myself for not knowing about this sauce before I sent out a "Signature Lubbock" box as a gift to a friend, it would have been perfect alongside Kylito's Salsa and Big Wicks Jalapeno Glaze.
Congratulations to a Lubbock original- Vizo's, for this exciting offering. Now folks outside of Lubbock can try their signature flavors, too.
A huge shout-out to Tracy Cole for allowing me to use her fantastic photos.
