Airbourne Inks Record Deal, New Album May Land This Year

It's always nice to see a band that truly deserves a break get one. Airbourne, of course, is no stranger to success, but after parting ways with Roadrunner Records, the band has signed on with Spinefarm Records.

So what does this even mean?

For one, this usually means a new album is in the works or is already in progress. This would be a likely case, as it has been reported the band is eyeing a late-2015 release.

Another reason this is a big deal is that when bands do this, there's usually a new sense of direction and inspiration. This has been the case for many bands, and hopefully it'll be the case for Airbourne.

Congrats to these dudes, and keep a lookout for new Airbourne in the near future.
