Alan Sheppard Stamp [PICS]

Yeah, for so a great American, this is a half-ass portrait of a hero. It was fifty years ago that Sheppard became the first man in space. The flight lasted only 15 minutes, and I think they took less than that selecting this portrait. This picture makes him look like he needs a helmet for reasons other than space travel.  In case you're not getting it-GREAT AMERICAN HERO-TERRIBLE PORTRAIT.
