Drinks are almost on the house.

A Japanese restaurant chain called Volks is offering a mind-boggling and beer-goggling deal in which customers can drink all they want for 100 yen, which is roughly 86 cents.

Now, you're probably thinking, "What's the catch?" Because unless you're at a wedding with an open bar, there's always a catch. So, here's the sobering truth (while sobriety is still in play)

The deal is only good from 2-7 p.m. and lasts only 10 minutes. If you want another 10 minutes, you gotta pay another 100 yen.

The drinks that fall under the promotion include Asashi Super Dry draft beer, whiskey highballs, shochu, shochu sour cocktails, plum wine cocktails, and red or white wine.

You must finish the drink you ordered before ordering another one, so don't even think about walking in and asking for half a dozen pitchers because hoarding is best left to people who have a collection of TV Guides that take up all the space in their basement.

It sounds like a great deal, but let's be honest. People who spend 86 cents to drink all they can are either taking advantage of a great deal, borderline alcoholics who've scrounged up enough change in their couch cushions or hobos who've had a terrible day begging.
