Aloha BBQ Grill Might Be the Most Delicious Restaurant in Lubbock

Aloha BBQ Grill has seriously got to be the best food in Lubbock. Period. This isn't a paid advertisement, and as much as I wish I was, I won't be getting any cool perks out of writing this article. I just felt like it was important thing to say. If you live in Lubbock and haven't been there to eat, you must.

Not only do they have an exceptionally inexpensive menu, but the portions sizes are also MASSIVE and the food is consistently amazing. You can get a huge mixed plate of delicious BBQ and two big sides for under 10 dollars. It's seriously two or three days' worth of food. So far, everything I've had from there has been worth so much more money than I paid for it.

The fried fish, macaroni salad and chicken katsu are no doubt glorious, which is necessary for the wait time. Some days the restaurant is so busy you have to hang out a bit longer for a to-go order than you would at other restaurants. Let me tell ya, It's well worth it. It's a testament to the fact that I am not the only person in town that has realized just how damn good their food is.

The 4.4-star review on Yelp is another clear indication of their local success. Yelpers are SUPER critical, so that's a pretty impressive score.

If you've been looking for a great local restaurant to visit this weekend and you haven't eaten at Aloha, I urge you to take the plunge. You will quickly become addicted, but you will be so happy, you won't have time to think about how small your pants are becoming. Seriously. Check them out. Order the Mixed BBQ Plate -- I dare you. Then, get ready to start packing up your house because it might be time to move to Hawaii.
