Are The Kids Of Today Alright?

Kids these days are missing out.

When I think back to my childhood I seriously feel sorry for the kiddos these days.

When I hear kids talking about playing games against one another online rather than outside it makes me sad.

They will never know the joy of leaving the house right after breakfast and riding their bike to a friends house to get everyone together to play a game of football in the street or a pickup game of baseball in a vacant lot.

Television, cell phones, and the internet are robbing kids of the joys of childhood because the youth of today would rather be inside using electronics to stay connected rather than playing in the dirt and breathing in the fresh air.

Just some thoughts as I drove to work today and didn't see a single kid outside.
