Axl Rose To Be Included In Special Topps Baseball Card Metal Set

Recently, we told you about Metallica performing the National Anthem at an upcoming San Francisco Giants ball game in May. Now, Topps has announced they will release the 10 Heavy Metal Autographs set of 2013. As a kid, I loved to collect and trade baseball cards with my buds as we smacked on that awesome gum that used to come in every pack.

For 2013,Topps will offer collectors a chance at 25 limited edition metal cards featuring rockers from the days of big hair, pointy guitars and spandex pants.

The special sets will include Axl Rose (GUNS N' ROSES), Sebastian Bach (ex-SKID ROW), Tommy Lee (MÖTLEY CRÜE), Kip Winger (WINGER), Reb Beach (Winger, WHITESNAKE), LITA FORD, Bobby Brown (WARRANT's 'Cherry Pie' video), Stephen Pearcy (RATT), Scott Ian (ANTHRAX) and
Dee Snider (TWISTED SISTER).

The due date for the Heavy Metal Autograph sets is May 29th.
