Blue Bell Introduces Black Raspberry Fudge Ice Cream For Summer

Texas-based and Texas favorite Blue Bell Ice Cream has released a new flavor available in pints and half gallons: Black Raspberry Fudge, which is black raspberry ice cream with a fudge swirl and fudge chunks. Yum!

Confession: I knew about this flavor for a few weeks before I was allowed to say anything about it, but I am proud to say I'm pretty good at keeping a secret. I'm a huge fan of fruit-based ice creams, particularly underutilized flavors like black raspberry.

A Review From The Biggest Ice Cream Fan In The World: My Dad

Is there anyone more serious about ice cream than a dad? Dad said that the mix-ins are pure magic- the fudge chunks and swirl are rich, present, and very generous. But this doesn't take away or outshine the black raspberry ice cream flavor. It's really a beautifully balanced and decadent treat.  So there you go, its dad approved ahead of summer grilling and Father's Day.

Also released this year is Brookie ala Mode, which is brown sugar ice cream with brownies and chocolate chip cookies, and Honey Vanilla, which is pretty self-explanatory and amazing for an affogato. Also added to the lineup this year are Blue Bell Pro Pints, which have zero added sugar, 33-35 grams of protein, and a little over 300 calories per container.

Some current seasonal flavors are Peaches & Homemade Vanilla, Bride's Cake (my personal favorite of all time), Banana Fudge, Dr. Pepper, and A& W Float flavors and more. That's what I love about Blue Bell, there's always a ton of unique and delicious choices.
