The 2024 South Plains Fair officially kicks off tonight (Friday, September 20)!

Last night was "Buck-A-Ride Night" also known as preview night. I attended and I believe I was able to take a snap of every local food booth.

We ran inside as soon as the gates opened, so some of them were not quite open yet, but were by the time we left for the evening.

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, of course, and there was a wide variety of delicious food to choose from. Savory, sweet, and plenty of fried goodies were everywhere.

I saw many, many happy faces enjoying their food and drinks. This is why I love the fair so much- many families that are our neighbors just enjoying the good vibes and celebrating the beginning of Fall.

We'll show you all the food booths, but first, here's all the pertinent fair information you'll want to know before you go.

Clear bag policy! Or very small bags. I don't want you to have to hike all the way back to your car.  No re-admission either, unless you buy another gate ticket.
