You may have spotted these guys, the Bloodstained Men, in Lubbock the past few days, protesting the fact that baby boys are typically circumcised after birth without their consent.

The crotches of their pants were made to look blood-stained, something they do to get their point across even further. Why does our culture practice circumcision at all? Is circumcision medically necessary? What are the pros and cons?
