I guess I'm a bit more old school than most folks, but I still believe in manners. You can debate all day whether President Obama has been good or bad for the country, but it's just plain tacky to try to kick someone in the ass on their way out the door.

This particular President's time is almost over. Nearly all indicators are that it was very successful Presidency. Even if you want to deny that, or "interpret the facts differently," the guy's is pretty much done.

He's headed out, and a large group of people are going to have to find someone else to blame all their problems on.

This takes us to last night's State of the Union speech.

President Obama mentioned that he was done campaigning, which led to some of the less tactful members of Congress showing the manners of squealing piggies and start clapping. What they didn't expect was for the President to come off script and do what I like to call "break one off in their collective asses."

Better yet, instead of being a jerk about it, he broke it off in them and then gave them a wink and a smile.
