Deadline Approaching for Candidates to File in Upcoming City of Lubbock Election

Friday, February 14 at 5pm is the deadline for candidates to file to run for the upcoming May 2, 2020 non-partisan election date. This includes the upcoming City of Lubbock, Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees, Frenship ISD Board of Trustees elections, and many other local non-partisan elections across the State of Texas. The Texas Secretary of State website has additional election information.

As of Feb. 6, 2020, the following candidates have filed to run in the upcoming City of Lubbock election:
