Lubbock, If Your Dog Could Talk, They’d Beg You to Go to This…
Grab your dogs, grab your family, and get ready for an afternoon of adorable dogs doing adorable things...in costumes!
The 7th Annual Bark & Brew Dogtoberfest is coming to Lubbock on Sunday, October 11th, from noon to 5 pm at The Range.
Bark & Brew Details
According to the flyer, Bark & Brew will feature a dog parade, dog races, costume contests, presentations, and vendor booths. If you've been looking for an excuse to buy your pup an unnecessarily elaborate costume, congrats. Your moment has arrived!
It's For A Great Cause!
The event is also more than just letting dogs run around looking silly for our viewing pleasure. Bark & Brew promotes awareness of Texas Lions Camp, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and World Services for the Blind.
Bring Your Dog!
And yes, your dog can join you, participate in the costume contest, the parade, and the races. Still, there is one very important requirement: participating dogs must have current vaccination records. Be sure to bring the paperwork to prove your dog has had all its shots!

Whether your pup is an Olympic-level runner or a professional couch potato, I'd say this is a pretty solid way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Mark your calendars now for October 11th, and get out there and find a costume for your dog! (And send me pictures afterward. I need to see all the dogs in all the costumes, always. Thanks.)
Bark & Brew takes place at The Range on Sunday, October 11th, from noon to 5 at 3116 122nd Street.
