It makes it even more tempting when someone tells you you aren't allowed to photograph something. Am I right? I recently saw the band CAKE play in Dallas while on vacation. I've been a huge fan since I was in high school and I could NOT wait to make all of my friends jealous with a ton of photos on Facebook.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to take a single one. The staff at the venue made it clear that you would be thrown out of the show if you took any pictures. Period. There was no way I was going to let that happen. I bit my tongue and watched the concert and kept my phone in my pocket.

Several places in Texas could get you into even deeper trouble if you try to take a photo of them. It's one thing to get kicked out of a concert. It's something else to get thrown in jail or fined a ton of money.
