Don’t Miss Free Health Screenings and Back-To-School Immunizations At Amigos

Amigos is hosting a health fair this Saturday, August 5th, 2023, from 11 am until 2 pm. Guests will be offered free A1C health screenings and you'll also have the opportunity to get your children their back-to-school immunizations.

The following locations will offer free screenings and immunizations:

- Amigos in Lubbock at 113 N. University

- Amigos in Plainview at 2403 N. Columbia Avenue

- Amigos in Hereford at 520 N. 25 Mile Avenue

- Amigos in Amarillo at 3300 I-40 East

"With fall and a new school year right around the corner, Amigos locations want to help their communities get off on the right foot with a free health fair for guests. The health fair will offer free screenings including A1C tests, approximately a $30 value, as well as blood pressure checks. Back-to-school immunizations will also be offered with options for both insured and uninsured guests.

In addition to the health screenings and immunizations, the health and wellness team can show guests how to make healthier choices. They will be providing shopping guides geared towards diabetes plus tips to help meet other lifestyle dietary goals. On top of that, each location will host different community partners to provide information about the health services they provide the community."
