Dropkick Murphys ‘Amazing Grace’ – My Favorite Cover Song [AUDIO]

Back in the day I was opposed to “big” bands performing cover songs but now my opinion on the topic has softened to the point that I actually love cover songs. Recently, we got the latest song by Charm City Devils and it was a cover of ‘Man of Constant Sorrow’ and that got me thinking about my favorite cover tunes.

Wes even posted the video for ‘Man of Constant Sorrow‘, a song he considers the “perfect cover tune”. Like Wes, I consider that song a perfect cover tune, but that’s not my favorite cover song. There are great covers out there by Hendrix, Disturbed, Alien Ant Farm and more. But, my favorite cover song of all time has to be by the Dropkick Murphys. Their cover of ‘Amazing Grace’ is phenomenal and gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
