Ever Slept In An Acorn? This Texas Rental Is Turning Heads Among Travelers

Summer is here, and that means trips! I try to skip out on boring hotels and opt for unique Airbnb properties that I wouldn't have the chance to stay at otherwise, which brings us to today's subject: The Nut House.

The Nut House, an adorable acorn-shaped vacation rental in Aubrey, Texas, is not only the largest acorn in the entire state, but it's also the largest in the entire world! Visitors can spend a few days "suspended amongst the trees" in a big'ole nut. How weird and fun is that?

Nutty Details

The Nut House is set on private land- 15 acres of it, and features an upstairs loft with a king-size bed and kitchenette with all of the essential items you need to prepare a meal. Unfortunately, the only downside to the property is that if you have to potty in the middle of the night, you'll need to walk down a short pathway to get to the facilities. It looks like a nice walk, though, and the bathrooms look fancy! There's even a spiffy rain shower.
