Exciting New Asian Eatery Coming Soon to Lubbock From Midland

An exciting new Asian restaurant will open soon in Lubbock. Kung Fu China Express has signage up at 5102 60th Street in the Quorum Shopping Center. That's across from the South Plains Mall, near the new location of Play It Again Sports.

I'm a very visual/ landmark type of person, so here's where this location is in the Quorum shopping center, which has changed so much since this photo was taken:

It appears that it will be a fairly large place, but will it be any good? And what will the dining experience be like? Likely, we have tons of clues, because Kung Fu China Express is from Midland, Texas. Expansion is a very good sign of success and quality.

From the photos on the website, you can tell this is a quick-serve "down-the-line" type of setup as you'd see at a place little Panda Express. The reviews on Yelp are generally very positive, with the restaurant having an overall 4.5 star rating. "Huge portions" is mentioned frequently.

I think the area around South Plains Mall deserves to be fun and exciting- and with tons of choices for food after an afternoon of shopping. I think Kung Fu China Express will fit in beautifully with central Lubbock.
