It's finally that magical time in fall when you realize you are done avoiding the heat outdoors and hiding in your apartment. Yay!

It's time to do a little fall reset.

You don't have to go out and buy a bunch of pumpkins or silly decorations, but you might want to do a few things to make it a little cozier for the coming months.

Fall Reset Checklist

1. Change your bedding.

It's time for your winter sheets, and thank goodness. My summer sheets probably need to be burned. It was way too sweaty in my place this entire summer. I'm on the top floor, and heat friggin' rises, y'all. It was miserable.

2. Find your hoodies.

You can finally wear them without regretting it! Today was an excellent day for a hoodie. You might want to toss yours in the wash to freshen them up. You finally need them! YESSSS!

3. Make your apartment smell like fall.

All it takes is a little cheap candle or some incense, and suddenly, you're back in grandma's kitchen enjoying a plate of sugar cookies. Fall scents are the best, and this is a really cheap way to get your place in the spirit.

4. Give your couch area a teeny little makeover.

Dollar General has really cheap seasonal throw pillows. I highly recommend grabbing a few for your couch and maybe throwing a fuzzy blanket on there. Boom. Fall couch!

5. Clean the stuff you've been putting off all summer.

For some reason, summer chores are the worst. Who wants to sweat inside and outside? Not me.

It's cooler out now, and it's time to tackle those pesky chores you've been putting off, but this time, in a hoodie! I think it makes them slightly more bearable. Just pick one tiny thing to clean every day, and pretty soon, your place will be a fall paradise ready to entertain your pals.
