The session takes place in the LHUCA Graffiti Building from 1 to 4 pm this Sunday, January 7th, 2024, and registrants are invited to bring their art supplies or use paper and materials provided by the LHUCA. You have to be at least 18 years old to participate and the event is only $5. If you're a college student, bring your college ID and get in for free.

Also, if you happen to be interested in modeling for a future portrait drawing session, the LHUCA would love to have you. Feel free to email programs@lhuca.org to find out how to get involved in modeling.

These sessions are a fantastic opportunity for artists in our community to hone their craft, meet other artists, and get better acquainted with the Lubbock art scene. There are so many wonderful and talented people in our city. If you're new to town and curious about where to find some artsy friends, the LHUCA is a great place to start.

The LHUCA is located at 511 Ave K. You can register ahead of time for this event by clicking the link here.

If you happen to participate this Sunday, or any Sunday in the future, I'd love to see your portrait! Please feel free to email me at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com and show it off. I'm a big art lover!
