San Angelo, Texas - One of Texas' top ten most wanted fugitives was captured in San Angelo on February 13th, 2025.

26-year-old Dylan Carroll was arrested by the TxDPS Criminal Investigations Division, TxDPS Highway Patrol, the San Angelo Police Department, and the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.

Carroll has been wanted by Tom Green County since November 2024 for a charge of aggravated assault that caused serious bodily injury. He's also got a warrant from South Carolina in regard to a case of probation violation.

It's not exactly clear what made Carroll one of the top most wanted fugitives in Texas, however, he has a lengthy rap of misconduct.

Here are the charges that landed him in hot water, listed on his Most Wanted Fugitive DPS report:

"Simple Assault and Battery, Carrying Concealed Gun, Larceny of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Assault on a Female, Breaking and/or Entering, Larceny After Break/Enter, Burglary, Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member, Assault Family/Household Member Impede Breath/Circulation."
