Get Stoked! A Brand New Thai Restaurant Is Coming To Lubbock

What's better than all of the delicious Thai food we have in Lubbock? More of it!

The owner of Thai Pepper is planning to open a new Thai restaurant in September called Mam's Thai Cuisine. If it's anything like Thai Pepper, you best believe I will be a regular.

Right now, you can only find a little information about it online. They have an Instagram page with some new photos, but only 41 followers. I imagine that will change pretty quickly once they are open for business.

I also found their Facebook page and it looks like they are just as excited to open as we are to have more delicious and authentic Thai food in town. Lubbock cannot get enough, and honestly we would probably welcome a dozen more places if we had the option.

The new restaurant will be located at 6309 66th Street.

I'm all about it, and I bet you are, too. I've never met a Thai dish I didn't like. Something about eating noodles that are so spicy they make you cry is totally my thing. I’m a glutton for punishment. My favorite dish is Pad Thai, but I've been trying to branch out and try different things when I go out to eat. I don't want to miss out on something just because I can't pronounce it.

Sometimes I just close my eyes, point at the menu and order whatever I land on. You should try it sometime.

Anyway, get stoked, Lubbock! More great Thai food is on the way. I can’t wait to try Mam's Thai Cuisine. I'll see you there!
