Lubbock, This Store Is Full of Grandma’s Coolest Stuff
If you love digging through old treasures, goofy collectibles, and the kinds of things your grandmother kept in her living room, you won't want to miss this Lubbock business tucked away on Avenue Q.
Grand Central Station Antiques is loaded with gorgeous antiques, collectibles, vintage jewelry, home decor, and all kinds of interesting fun.
If you've never been inside, I bet you've driven by it a billion times and wondered about the bowling pin on the roof.
The building itself has a pretty interesting history.
Before the Antiques, There Was Bowling!

The building was originally constructed back in 1955 as the Lubbock Bowling Club. Longtime Lubbock residents might remember spending afternoons bowling there, competing in various leagues, or even taking bowling classes through Texas Tech University.

In fact, the current co-owner, Sally Abbe, remembers taking a few bowling classes there while she attended Tech in the 1970s.

Now she owns a business in the very same building.
That's a full-circle moment, right there.
A Little Bit Of Everything

Grand Central Station has been around for years, but Don and Sally Abbe just became its proud owners in July of 2019.
