Green Beans Sold In Texas Recalled: Could Contain Dangerous Foreign Objects
If you enjoy green beans (I certainly do), you may want to check your pantry for a recently recalled item, as it could contain "foreign objects," per the FDA.
The recall affects nearly 200,000 green bean cans, including some sold in Texas. It is a Class II recall, meaning that consuming the product could cause "temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences."
Target house brand Good & Gather green beans with certain lot numbers/best-by dates may have experienced a manufacturing defect that led to foreign object contamination. It is not stated on the FDA site what the foreign object could be.

According to health.com, foreign object contamination could include raw material contamination, including "bones and pits" (which I assume would be stems or leaves if we are talking green beans) or objects from processing, including plastic, small stones, or insect parts.
Foreign objects can lead to certain health hazards like choking or damaging teeth.
