Guns N’ Roses Add Fall 2017 North American Tour Leg, Announce Summer Support Acts
Seems like more people want in on the "Not in This Lifetime" tour! Guns N' Roses have just added yet another leg of dates to their highly successful trek, while also revealing more details about who will be joining them on their summer run.
The new North American leg is set to kick off Oct. 8 in Philadelphia and will run through Nov. 25 in Los Angeles. In between, fans in New York, Boston, Cleveland, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Tulsa, Las Vegas and Oakland will also have a chance to check out current lineup of GN'R, which features the returns of Slash and Duff McKagan.
Meanwhile, the band's planned summer North American run just got more interesting with the addition of a wealth of support acts. Fans in St. Louis and Minneapolis will get a support set from Deftones. Those attending shows in Denver, Little Rock and Miami will see Sturgill Simpson opening the night. Live will serve as the opener in Winston-Salem and Hershey. Canadian rock favorites Our Lady Peace are on board for dates in Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Edmonton. Royal Blood will rock Vancouver and George, Wash., and Texas rock legends ZZ Top will play the El Paso and San Antonio dates. Watch a trailer for both the new additions and the newly announced fall dates above.
Though Guns N' Roses recently lost out on the Best Rock Tour category at the Billboard Music Awards, there's no denying that the tour has generated plenty of interest and earned the band some of their best box office returns in years.
