Somewhere in Lubbock, a Kid Needs Your Ridiculous Old Costume
Most of us have a storage bin in a random corner of our home that contains approximately 3 costumes nobody has touched since 2019. Some people have a whole hoard of costumes lying around, collecting dust. My parents' guest room closet is like a tiny little haunted textile museum...
Before you add another one to the pile this year, consider donating them.
What To Do With Old Halloween Costumes in Lubbock
Halloween can get surprisingly expensive, especially for families with a whole bunch of kiddos. Not every parent has money lying around to buy each of their kids a fancy, new costume each year, and for a kid, picking out a costume can be a pretty big deal.
That old princess dress you wore for approximately 2 hours? Someone else's kid could become the most beautiful little princess in it.
The timeless Spider-Man and Batman costumes that you kids have long outgrown? Another little superhero could have the time of their life trick-or-treating in it.
What about that old inflatable hotdog costume you were CONVINCED would be totally hilarious? Well, you were right. It was funny as hell, AND it's still hilarious. Let another human experience the glory of rocking that thing to a Halloween party.
