Now, let's back up. If you're one of those flat-earthers, you can go ahead and leave, this isn't for you. If you do understand (notice the word *understand, not *believe) that the earth is round then you'd realize that there is something on the other side of the world.

Well, it turns out that if you dug in a straight line from Lubbock to the other side of the world (and didn't burn up in the earths molten core) you'd end up smack dab in the middle of the Indian Ocean. You'd actually be almost perfectly half-way between Australia and South Africa (a little closer to Madagascar). All of this was calculated on a site called Antipodesmap.com.
