An unwarranted update to Hellyeah's Wikipedia page has sparked rumors that former Norma Jean, Underoath and Every Time I Die drummer Daniel Davison would be joining the band following Vinnie Paul's death. The group denied the rumors via their official Twitter account, saying, "ABSOLUTE FAKE NEWS." They attached a screenshot of the entry, circling Davison's name and writing "WTF?" You can see the tweet below.

Amidst this, the band have confirmed that a new album with drum parts from Paul, which were recorded before his death, is still coming. "We're in the middle of huge things right now," bass player Kyle Sanders told SiriusXM Liquid Metal's Jose Mangin in a recent interview. "This is the last thing you expect to hear. We're in the studio right now, man. We're doing a record, [this is] everything that Vinnie lives for. It's devastating, man."

He continued, "The music that I'm sitting on right now, it makes me so happy to hear it, to have all the music done. We're doing vocals now, we're like 75 percent done with this record. [The] tour's starting in September, all these festivals [are booked]. We just were on the phone with Vinnie talking about the game plan."

Davison left his last band, Every Time I Die, last fall saying that their touring schedule "wasn’t sustainable" for him.
