Homemade, Fresh & Flavorful: Lubbock Loves Family Owned Bucket Of Love
Today (2/6/2025) my work family and I tried Bucket Of Love (6012 82nd St Suite E) and to say we were impressed would be an understatement!
First, we were greeted by the very friendly Andre, who explained the menu to us since it was our first time there.
At Bucket Of Love, you choose your protein, and all the sides are served "family style," meaning we got heaping helpings in bowls to dish out between us.
We started with the fried green tomato appetizer. If you like fried green tomatoes (I sure do) these will be your favorite! They can out piping hot in a crisp corn batter, with a side of thick, delicious ranch dressing.
Chad and I got tenders, Landon got chicken and waffles, and Nick got the chicken fried chicken. Before our chicken was ready, we were served a big yummy bowl of salad to share and BIG, delicious biscuits. I had mine with honey which is the way to go!
When we got our very freshly prepared, piping hot chicken we all dug in. Each one of us enjoyed our food very much. I stole part of Landon's waffle and I'll likely order it next time.
All the sides were "like momma makes them," I particularly liked the smoky taste in the green beans.
The restaurant itself is comfortably laid out and beautifully decorated. It made me happy to see large photos of the Lee family on the wall. Their food and incredible heart for service has brought me a tremendous amount of joy over the years.
Beginning tomorrow (Friday, February 7th) you can try Bucket Of Love for 50% off when you head to Seize The Deal! You can purchase a voucher for $20 worth of Bucket Of Love for only $10! Their prices are already beyond fair, but now you can have Bucket Of Love for a bargain.
While you're there, you can also try another restaurant lovingly owned and operated by the Lee family- Doc's Cafeteria. You can get $30 to spend on their delicious one-stop buffet for only $15.
A huge thank you to the Lee family for an amazing meal and an amazing experience!
