Lubbock Master Gardeners Presents: Hub City Garden Tour 2025
One of my favorite things to do is to take a long, luxurious walk on a nice morning or during the cool-down before sunset. One of the best parts of a good walk is passing by a beautifully curated landscape.
However, you might not know where some of Lubbock's premier gardens are, and you certainly don't want to waltz into anyone's backyard unannounced.

Luckily, you soon can take a tour through some of the very best, thanks to the Lubbock Master Gardeners.
Who Are The Lubbock Master Gardeners?
The Lubbock Master Gardeners is a nonprofit organization that exists:
[...] to support and educate the Lubbock community with science-based best practices and decades of experience navigating the unique gardening opportunities on the Llano Estacado.
In other words, they are people who have a ton of combined experience and training with actually keeping things green around here.
They have plenty of resources with hyper-localized advice online, which is truly invaluable for anyone wanting to landscape or garden in this area. They have advice on everything from caring for our precious trees to building a potato tower.
