There is some freezing winter weather expected to hit the South Plains which could cause some very extreme driving conditions this morning. Some daycares, schools, businesses and government facilities in the Lubbock area have opted to delay their openings. This list will be updated as information becomes available.

Frenship ISD: Two-hour delay
High Point Village: 2 hour delay

Idalou ISD: 10 a.m.
Little Precious Steps Daycare: 10:00 a.m.
Little Wings School: 10:00 a.m.
Lubbock Autism Academy: 10:00 a.m.
Lubbock Cooper ISD: Canceled
Lubbock ISD Elementary: 9:45 a.m.
Lubbock ISD Middle schools: 10:20 a.m.
O'Donnell ISD: 2 hour delay
Premier High School: 2 Hour Delay
Ralls ISD: 10 a.m.
