Indego and Oddfellas will be putting on one hell of a show at Jake's Sports Cafe & Backroom this weekend (April 24th, 2021). You don't want to miss it.

Indego is a progressive rock band based out of Lubbock. They've been playing together for roughly three years, and even though the pandemic got in the way of their touring over the past year, these guys are bouncing back and ready to go. I highly recommend checking out their album Sick Together if you want to get a little sample of the kinds of things you can expect to see on Saturday. They do great justice to all of the music and talent Lubbock is known for, and I can't wait to see them perform again.

Oddfellas will be on the mic as well. The alt-rock band with a southern sound hail from Pampa, Texas. They've played all over the U.S. and even rocked Sturgis two years in a row. I absolutely love their song "Cold," so if you have a minute, I suggest you add that one to your queue. These guys have a huge social media following and I can already tell that their music will sound so complementary to everyone else on the bill.

Other performances include Native Crowds, an emo/pop/punk project out of north Texas, as well as Hayden Lewis, a Lubbock performer that will bring some of that hometown swagger we all love.

The show is Saturday, April 24th. Doors open at 8 p.m., and it's only $10 to enjoy all of this awesomeness.

Slowly but surely, life is going back to normal on the South Plains. I don't know about you guys, but I've missed live music and entertainment more than anything. This is going to be great.

See you there, boys and girls.
