Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Bridgerton, Wine, & Lavender
It’s hard to believe that we have already made it to August, but Lubbock is not slowing down and has a variety of great events happening this first weekend of summer’s final stretch.
If you aren’t sure what you want to do, but you know you want to get out of the house and do something, then keep on scrolling because I have details on a few fun events happening in Lubbock starting August 2nd, 2024.
From August 2nd through the 3rd, Little Red Riding Hood Nursery is hosting their fifth Lavender Fest. There will be a variety of vendors, lavender sno-cones, chances to learn how to grow your own lavender, wine tasting, activities, and more.
This event takes place at 4415 Woodrow Road.
Bridgerton Tea and Flower Arrangement Party
Chickies Tasty Treats is hosting a Bridgerton-themes party where you can enjoy fancy tea, fancy treats, and make your own teacup flower arrangement. In true Bridgerton fashion, wearing a beautiful dress is encourages, but not required. There will also be some giveaways during the event.
This event takes place at Chickies Tasty Treats on Saturday, August 3rd, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Wine
There are a variety of fun wine events happening this weekend. This includes the Rosé Festival on Saturday, August 3rd, and the Indian Tapas and Wine Pairing with Saffron & Spice on Friday, August 2nd. Both of these events will take place at English Newsom Cellars.
There are also plenty other great events in and around Lubbock that you can find on the Facebook event page.
