Lubbock has a big weekend with many great events to check out. Whether you are looking for some good food, dancing, or want to celebrate Pride, there is a little something for everyone.

Friday:

This Friday has a good mix of events including Adult Comedy Night at Mahon Library, Bandos Los Ebanitos at El Mitote, DIY Bouncy Ball Crafting at the Lubbock Public Library, Party on the Patio at Adventure Park and more. Saturday is the biggest day of events this week, so let’s get into it.

Saturday:

This Saturday is big for Lubbock’s LGBTQ+ community. LubbockPRIDE is hosting their annual Pride Festival with a variety of performances, vendors, activities, and more. It starts at noon, goes into the evening, and will take place at the Depo District on Buddy Holly Ave and 18th Street.

If you are a big foodie and want to check out a variety of Lubbock food trucks, you’ll want to head over to Cook’s Garage for the West Texas Food Truck Showdown or visit the Outlaw Egg Rolls Eating Competition at Prima Vista Lubbock.

If that isn’t your vibe, you can head to the Texas Tech Leisure Pool for SPKF Kidney Splash Fest, Talent Plus Lubbock for a Sip & Shop, Bark in the Park at 6007 Marsha Sharp FWY, Wine and Clay Fest at Llano Estacado Winery, the Merengue dance lesson at the YWCA Sun ‘n Fun, or Kong’s House Day Party.

This Sunday has a few things to check out including Sunday Funday at Cotton Court, a Women Veterans Banquet at Elks Lodge, and an Entrepreneurs Brunch at Tripp’s Restaurant.
