
Chick-fil-a Set To Build a $46 Million Distribution and Warehouse Site in Lubbock
Chick-fil-a is investing in Lubbock and bringing new jobs to the area with a planned distribution and warehouse site that will be built near the airport.
Chick-fil-A Distribution Center to Bring Jobs To Lubbock
According to multiple reports, Chick-fil-A will be building a $46 million distribution facility in Lubbock. It will not be a fast food location. Instead it will be a "ground-up temperature distribution facility to serve location restaurants", according to KAMC.
The project is expected to draw in at least 80 jobs according to a report from Lubbock Lights.

Construction is set to begin on May 1 and could take about a year to complete. The center will be built in the Lubbock Business Court. Lubbock Lights also reported that the project is moving forward after Chick-fil-A was offered more than $4 million in incentives to build the distribution center in Lubbock. That includes LEDA donating 14 acres of land inside the Lubbock Business Park.
Chick-fil-A has yet to comment on the reports.
