Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 43 People Arrested the Week of July 4th
Happy week after July 4th, last week was crazy and all over the place but we are back with double the mugshots this week. If you were too busy with fireworks then there might be some things you missed.
Hold my Feed, Put em' up Mother Nature!
Tractor Supply is one of the more popular stores to purchase animal feed especially if you live in the Eastern or South Western portions of town. Well many people, including myself, that life in North Lubbock County are rejoice because a new Tractor Supply is opening in close proximity to the Shallowater area. This new store will have a pick-up area and a greenhouse for plants which none of the other stores in Lubbock have. Don't worry none of those plants will be the vicious plant known as mesquite. Mesquite, also known as the Devil's Tree, is one of those plants that you don't want in your garden because it packs quite a punch.
Noodles, Ice Cream, and Flying?
Onto people food now because Lubbock just has an abundance of food and one place filled with amazing food is the National Flea Market. The food at this weekend-only spot is like a fusion between old fast and easy Mexican food with some more modern non-traditional foods, like Ramen, Doritos, and elote. If you are unable to make it to the Flea Market (pulga) on the weekends then head on over to your nearest Market Street and grab a pint of Blue Bell's newest Monster of a flavor.
You could just wait until the weekend to try all these foods but you might need to work some of those calories off, you could always try flying. I know people don't fly, at least with wings, but there are some aerial workout classes in Lubbock that are the next best thing. I recommend trying things out this Summer, except for touching mesquite plants, and nothing too crazy to get you feature in our mugshot lineup.
