The death of three people in Central Lubbock is currently under investigation. The Lubbock Police Department was dispatched to the 2700 block of 46th Street on Monday, August 21, at 10:37 a.m. after reports of a possible dead body.
KAMC news reports that property management had been trying to get inside of the home earlier that morning and discovered the body of 37-year-old LaCandria Ibrahim. It wasn't until police arrived at the scene that they discovered more bodies, that of a seven-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy, in the home who were also deceased.
The Lubbock Police Department is investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide as of now. The Lubbock Police Department did issue a statement via Facebook that this incident was an isolated one and there was no threat to the public at this time.
