This Central Texas City Won the Title of ‘Most Festive’ City For The Holidays in the U.S.
Christmas movies, families coming to visit, hot chocolates, and—most importantly—the holidays are finally here in Texas. You know the saying: everything is bigger in Texas. But what if I told you that not only is everything bigger, but a Central Texas city has been ranked the number-one fastest-growing holiday-festive city in the country?

What City In Central Texas Is Known As The Most Festive in US For The Holiday Season?
According to MySA there are several places here in the Lone Star State that ranked among the most festive U.S. cities during the holidays, but it was Austin, Texas, that took home the title. Winning it for the fourth year in a row, Austin has become the go-to place for holiday cheer and festivities. From Christmas carolers and ice-skating rinks to Christmas-themed events throughout the month, it makes sense that Austin earned the top spot.
Where Should Texans Go To Attend Holiday Events?
Dallas wasn’t far behind, followed by Houston and then San Antonio. It’s reported that if you really want to experience holiday cheer this year, Austin’s beloved Trail of Lights will run from December 10 through December 23, and a trip to San Antonio’s River Walk to see its light display is a must this season. Not just Texans, visitors come from all over to view the city's holiday cheer.
I guess when they say everything is bigger in Texas, they also mean the holiday spirit—because once again, Austin brought the win home.
