Texas Nabs Exclusive Robert Downey Jr. Cold Brew
As a coffee lover, and a big fan of the work of Robert Downey Jr., I was pleasantly surprised to see that he actually has his own coffee company. So, fellow Texas coffee lovers, get ready because Robert Downey Jr. is pouring out a little Lone Star love with his brand-new flavored cold brews, and you won’t find them anywhere else.
Texas Costco stores will be the only place in the country to snag this limited-time release from the actor’s Happy Products brand. The exclusive lineup includes bold Tahitian Vanilla and indulgent Salted Caramel flavors, plus the original blend and they’re all made with 100% Colombian Arabica coffee and no artificial sweeteners.
But this isn’t just a celebrity slapping his name on a drink, Happy is the latest passion project from Downey Jr., co-founded with Craig Dubitsky, the entrepreneur behind Method, EOS, and Hello brands. Launched in 2024, the company offers everything from whole bean coffee to ready-to-drink cold brews, all wrapped in cheerful packaging and rooted in a mission to spark joy. The brand also partners with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), giving the nonprofit an ownership stake and placing mental health resources directly on its packaging.
Texas Costco Gets First Pour
For this latest launch, Downey Jr.’s Happy Products chose Texas as the one-and-only state to debut its first-ever flavored cold brews- and it’s no accident. Co-founder Craig Dubitsky says Texas has been one of the brand’s strongest markets since day one, with fans here showing a bigger appetite for Happy coffee than anywhere else in the country.
So whether you’re a die-hard Robert Downey Jr. fan, a devoted coffee drinker, or just curious about trying something new, this is a sip you won’t want to miss. With Texas holding the exclusive rights to Happy’s first flavored cold brews, these 12-packs won’t be sitting on Costco shelves for long. Grab yours while you can, and enjoy a taste made just for the Lone Star State.
