Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit just announced they have booked an upcoming performance at Buddy Holly Hall's Helen Devitt Jones Theater, on May 7th, 2023, at 7:30 pm. If you are looking forward to the group's new album, Weathervanes, as much as I am, then you won't want to miss out on this opportunity to see them live before it's released on June 9th of this year.

Jason Isbell has won four Grammy awards, 2 for Best American Album (Something More Than Free & The Nashville Sound), and another 2 for Best American Roots Song for tracks "If We Were Vampires" and "24 Frames".

I have been dying to see him play, and I don't know if I've ever been more excited for a concert in Lubbock. It seems like every single opportunity I've had to see him has been messed with, and I will certainly not be missing this one.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 24th at 10 am, and prices range from $49 to $119 plus taxes and fees.

If you aren't familiar with Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, take a second to educate yourself and listen to my all-time favorite song below.

Are you crying or is someone cutting onions around here? My goodness. If I had a dollar for every time I've listened to that driving down a lonely Texas highway, I'd be filthy rich. I'm talking, big-time wealthy.

I hope you see you there. Mark your calendars and don't miss out on this amazing show.
