J M BBQ's 82nd Street Location Closes, But Fans Remain Loyal

It's a good news/ bad news situation for BBQ fans here in Lubbock. However, the good certainly outweighs the bad.

J & M BBQ Closes Southwest Lubbock Location

J & M BBQ recently closed its second location permanently. The southwest location at 6026 82nd Street called it quits this April. J & M's orginal location at 3605 34th will remain open. J & M BBQ posted about the closure on their Facebook page:

Our 82nd St location is permanently closed, and we’re sorry for any disruption this may cause. Thank you for supporting us and being part of our story. Our home location at 3605 34th St will remain open, and we hope you’ll stop by and continue supporting our team..

What The Original J & M Has To Offer

J&M BBQ has all the Texas barbecue favorites you expect- like brisket, sausage, and ribs, and all the sides you love like potato salad, fried okra, and more. They also offer items you don't see everywhere else, like chicken leg quarters and sweet potato fries. They even have specialty items like their Bar-B-Rito and Brisket Mac and Cheese.

We are so glad that J&M is still going strong. Sometimes the biggest step forward is taking a small step back.
